Note: Fishing is only allowed when the dam is not releasing water. This is for your safety. Fishing is also not allowed on holidays or holiday weekends due to kayak demand. Also, make sure to have your fishing license as well as your trout stamp available. 
We do not have a credit card machine on site. The only way to use a credit card is to reserve online.  If you wait until you arrive on site to book with your card you may not be able to take the fishing trip. ​

On-site fishing

Skip the bus ride and spend more time fishing or just playing around. You will get in the river, paddle a designated area below the beautiful Lake Blue Ridge dam and fish for your choice of either 2 hours or 4 hours. When finished, you will get out at the same location you got in. We provide your kayak, paddle, and life-vest. You will need to bring all fishing gear that you may need.  In our store, you may find a limited supply of fishing poles, hooks, lures, stringers and nets etc... to purchase. We have drinks for sale in the store as well. You are welcome to bring your own snacks and drinks if you like. Please do not bring any glass or styro-foam on the river.

2 hours: $25 per single/ $50 per tandem

6-mile fishing trip

Get in at our location and paddle downstream 6 miles while fishing. When done, you will be picked up and shuttled back to our location by bus. We provide your kayak, paddle, life-vest, and shuttle. You will need to bring  fishing gear that you may need. A Georgia fishing license with a trout stamp is required to fish on this river. You will pass through both shallow and deep waters, creeks that make great fishing spots, and rocks where you can stop. We have drinks for sale in our store. You are welcome to bring your own drinks/snacks but please do not bring styro-foam or glass on the river. You must be in the water no later than 15 minutes past your booking time. This trip is on call for pick up unless other arrangements are made. Please be at the take out point by 5 p.m.
Pricing: $65 per single/$110 per tandem.
