Note: Fishing is only allowed when the dam is not releasing water. This is for your safety. Fishing is also not allowed on holidays or holiday weekends due to kayak demand. Also, make sure to have your fishing license as well as your trout stamp available.

6-mile fishing trip

Get in at our location and paddle downstream 6 miles while fishing. When done, you will be picked up and shuttled back to our location by bus. We provide your kayak, paddle, life-vest, and shuttle. You will need to bring your own fishing gear. A Georgia fishing license with a trout stamp is required to fish on this river. You will pass through both shallow and deep waters, creeks that make great fishing spots, and rocks where you can stop. We have drinks for sale in our store. You are welcome to bring your own drinks/snacks but please do not bring styro-foam or glass on the river. You must be in the water no later than 15 minutes past your booking time. This trip is on call for pick up unless other arrangements are made. Please be at the take out point by 5 p.m.

Pricing: $65 per single/$110 per tandem.
