Located just two miles from downtown Blue Ridge, at the base of Lake Blue Ridge Dam, enter the crystal clear waters of the Lower Toccoa River. Embark on a 2 hour journey (dam being released) or a 3 hour journey (dam not being released.) of an unforgettable kayak trip for all ages and experience levels.

The Lower Toccoa River

When the dam is releasing water, it is necessary that everyone in your group knows how to steer a kayak. However, if someone in your group is not experienced, they can ride in a tandem with someone who is.
​When it is not releasing water, any experience level is welcome! The Dam release schedule is updated daily after 4 p.m. and states when or if water will be released for the next day. Call (706) 633-7066 after 4 p.m. to know what the release schedule will be. (note: the dam release schedule is subject to change the day of). 

Cancellation/Deposit Policy

Cancellation Policy: To be fully refunded, you must cancel your reservation within 24 hours of your scheduled trip.​ To cancel, email [email protected] or call (706) 633-7066.

Rental time Policy :  When booking our 6 mile trip, you are booking a 3 hour max rental time period with a 30 minute grace period. If you are not at the takeout point within the 3 hour time period a $50 charge will be added to the card on file. 

Weather

We have zero control over the weather and we work rain or shine. If you choose not to take your trip due to the weather, we will make every attempt to accommodate you at another date or time. However, we do not give same day refunds due to weather.
